This preamp was built based on the schematic that Master Kondo of Audio Note introduced in 1991 year. This is the first version of KLS-M77 Preamp which phono stage used CR type

Duelund coupling condenser for output
Top class oil condenser and resistor on phono stage.
Very strong iron chassis
Power supply is separated to cut off noise, hum from power supply.
Signal path for phono stage is separated to prevent unexpected noise, hum.
Point to point wiring, no PCB
Zero NFB schematic
Phono stage is CR type.
All tubes are included.

You can price down the amp by down grade the parts using inside the amp, but I highly recommend you using parts that I recommended above.

Sound is very wide range, quiet and detail. No color is added to sound, true sound, live and dynamic.
