This high-performance cartridge has a lighter vibration system than the DL-103, increased compliance, lighter needle pressure, and high tracing performance, and has improved frequency characteristics, crosstalk, distortion, and other characteristics up to the super-audible frequency range of 60KHz and above.

Features of the DL-103S

1) Streamlined vibration system

The vibration system is a one-point suspension system supported by extremely thin piano wire, so the center of vibration can be clearly defined over the entire playback frequency range. In addition, there is no harmful back and forth movement of the vibration system caused by friction between the needle tip and the record groove, and it operates stably, resulting in excellent playback sound quality with little distortion.

2) Double-structure cantilever Utility model application pending

The cantilever has a double structure, so there is no split vibration, making it lightweight and robust. As a result, the mechanical impedance of the vibration system can be reduced over the entire range, and combined with moderate compliance, it achieves excellent groove tracking.
