You can choose to order with cooper case or no case like model. Price for one using Amorphous core with 36 steps is 1200USD. With Finemet core price is 1400USD

You can put this one behind preamp or between CD and preamp, but it should put behind preamp and before power amp for better result.

Attenuator by transformers is quite different with resistor, it does not have signal lost, help sound more musical. Special order made so you can choose amorphous core or finemet core or orient cut core for transformer.
