This amp use auto-bias, you dont need to care to bias as changing tube.
There is volume control so you dont need to use preamp with this amp. Gain selector helps change the total gain of amplifier. P-G NF in prestage to change the gain of amplifier. No overalls NFB adopts to keep the true sound of 300B.

Why prestage used 12AX7 ? 12AX7 is very good tube for driving because of very high gain, but plate resistance is very high cause drive frequency drop very fast, especially when using it to drive tube that has low plate resistance as 300B. and we used 12AU7 which is popular and has low plate resistance as matching driving 300B. A half of 12AU7 is working as amplifier voltage driver and half of 12AU7 is used as cathode follower to drive 300B. Because the total gain of amplifier is ver high so gain selector was intalled in the amp to help customer select the proper gain.
